Ugandan singer Moses Ssekibogo popularly known as Mowzey Radio is dead. The Good Lyfe singer Moses Sekibogo Nakintije most known by stage names Mowzey Radio has passed on at Case Clinic in Kampala.
Medical reports released from the Buganda Road based Case Hospital, shortly when Moses “Radio” Ssekibogo passed on, show that the singer succumbed to post-surgery complications. While addressing journalists at the hospital, the Director in Charge In-patients at the Clinic, Apiyo, said, “Radio underwent a successful brain surgery on January 24. He was later put on life support machine where he had been progressively responding to treatment, but his condition worsened on Saturday and has been deteriorating until he breathed his last.”
The singer has been admitted for almost a week at the Case Clinic following a scuffle at a a local bar in Entebbe where he was beaten by a private bar guard commonly called bouncers.
Moses Sekibogo succumbed to the injuries and was first taken to Nsambya Hospital where he was first given First Aid and later transferred to Case Clinic when Nsambya failed to secure space in the Intensive Care Unit.
The soujah will be taken to Lubaga Cathedral Church at 2PM and later to National Theatre for public viewing.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday in Nakawuka along the Entebbe Road.
